Phillip B. Pharr, 67, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Froedtert Hospital, Wauwatosa, WI. He was born in Vina, AL on May 19, 1950 and was the son of W.B. and Mildred (Stacy) Pharr. Moving to Kenosha as a child, Phillip, attended local schools and graduated from Mary D. Bradford, class of 1969. He worked as a millwright with American Motors/Chrysler for 37 years. On February 14, 2004, he married Deborah Pfarr. Phillip attended First Christian Church and was a member of the Kenosha Moose Lodge #286 and UAW Local 72-retirees. He was a PQI member who loved to shoot billiards at his home, antique cars and cutting his lawn. Phillip had a special kindness with animals; all wild critters would eat out of his hand and he was the best dog trainer in the world even teaching them to smile. Mostly though, he had a loving heart for his family. Left to cherish his kind nature is his wife, Debbie, mother, Mildred, son, Phillip M. Pharr; grandson, Brody Pharr; step-daughter, Stephanie (Nick) Strupp; his favorite aunt, Lalla Halcomb; his favorite cousin, Elizabeth O’Neil along with many nieces, nephews and treasured friends. He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Charles and Timothy Pharr and two nephews, Shawn Farmer and William Pharr. Special thanks to Dr. Lewis for his compassionate care of Phillip and the family. |
