Richard F. Zuehlsdorf, age 86 of Kenosha, died on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Froedtert South-Kenosha Hospital Campus. Born in Kenosha on February 28, 1931, he was the son of the late Henry and Anna (Pfaff) Zuehlsdorf. He honorably served our country in the U.S. Army in Korea. On May 2, 1957 at St. James Catholic Church, he was united in marriage to Eileen C. Mc Aleer. After 49 years of marriage, she preceded him in death on July 19, 2006. Richard was employed as a Millwright at AMC/Chrysler for 42 years and as a journeyman carpenter and machine mover for various employers. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local #72. Richard enjoyed hunting, football, cookouts, and loved spending time with his family. Many lasting memories were made at his cabin in Silver Cliff. Survivors include his five children, Terrence (Patrick O’Toole) Zuehlsdorf, Kevin Zuehlsdorf, Michael (Patty) Zuehlsdorf, Mark (Becky) Zuehlsdorf and Colleen (Terry) Lawler; and nine grandchildren, Luke Zuehlsdorf, Jake Zuehlsdorf, Alexandra (Dan) Guzman, Gabe Zuehlsdorf, Samantha Zuehlsdorf, Rory Zuehlsdorf, Jenni (Al) Debbout, Paul (Cassie) Johnson and Patrick (Anja) Johnson. Along with his parents and wife, Eileen, he was preceded in death by a son, Timothy J. Zuehlsdorf; his brothers, Roger and Francis Zuehlsdorf; his sister, Mathilda; and his son-in-law, Terry L. Lawler. Richard and Eileen Zuehlsdorf have left behind a beautiful legacy that will live on through their children and grandchildren. God bless you both forever and ever. |
