Robert J. “Bob” Vidas, age 89 of Bristol, died on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Brookside Care and Rehab Center. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was born on May 6, 1928; the son of the late, George John and Elizabeth May (Toth) Vidas. In November of 1973, Bob was united in marriage to Lorna “Lori” (Britten) Sorenson at St. Mary’s Lutheran Church. Sadly, Lori passed away on January 20, 2018. Bob proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War and received the National Defense Service Medal. He owned and operated his own construction company for 60 years. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Paula (Chuck) Edson, Dan (Sandy) Vidas and Mark (Tracie) Vidas; grandchildren, Lindsey and Eric Edson, Tyler and Morgan Vidas and Shelly Eric and Laura Vidas; a sister, Dorothy Villard along with many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his siblings, Ed Vidas, Al Vidas, Margarite Drews, Helen Dahlgren, Francis Vidas and Paul Vidas.
