Mildred L. “Mollie” Pavlik, age 90 of Kenosha, died at Kenosha Brookside Care Center on Thursday, July 24, 2014.
A lifelong resident of Kenosha, born on October 4, 1923; she was the daughter of the late Julius and Anna (Lobotka) Modory.
Mildred attended Columbus Grade School, Lincoln Junior High School and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School, Class of 1942.
On October 24, 1942, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to John T. Pavlik .He preceded her in death on March 4, 2002.
Her career started with Coopers making button holes; American Motors and payroll clerk at Barden’s Department Store, retiring in 1979.
Mildred was a member of the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, St. Anthony Rosary Society, the 1st Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, UAW Local #72 Retirees, and of the Senior Action Council of Kenosha.
Mildred is survived by her daughters, Susan (Fred) DeBettignies and Ruth (Glenn) Moore; two granddaughters, Julia (Chris) Brand and Elizabeth (Jason) Barker; and four great grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, Mildred was preceded in death by her four sisters, Mary App, Ann Modory, June Carbone and Hedwie Wieske; her four brothers, Michael, Louis, Julius, and Steve Modory and a granddaughter Rebecca Ann Bundy.
