Full Military Honors will be following the service. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the Service and Military Honors. |

James L. Paul, Jr., age 80 of Pleasant Prairie, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Brookside Care Center. He was born on June 6, 1937 in Virginia, MN, and was the son of the late James L. and Kathryn A. (Hill) Paul, Sr. He attended schools in Virginia, MN and received his Associate Degree in Science from Virginia Junior College. James moved to Kenosha in 1966. Jim served in the U.S. Army from September 3, 1960 through June 6, 1997. He proudly retired with the rank of Command Sergeant Major. He served in numerous units including the 126th and 121st Field Artillery Battalions. On December 23, 1966, he was united in marriage to Betty A. Tenuta. He began employment in the parts department with Sears Roebuck & Company, and later retired. Jim also used his military supervisory skills to be an essential manager at both Wendy’s and Burger King. Jim volunteered his time at Kenosha Hospital in their guest relations department. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed playing the trumpet. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Betty Paul; his son, Jamie Paul; his daughter-in-law, Deana Paul; and his four grandchildren, Jamie Paul, Jr., Jordan Paul, Sarah Paul and Garrett Paul. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Noreen Jaminski. |
