Heaven’s lights shone brighter on June 18, 2017 when 72 year old Alfred R. “Fred” Beaudry, Jr. took his place among the stars. Born in Tokio, ND on June 19, 1944, he was the son of the late Alfred R. and Violet I. (Robertson) Beaudry, Sr. Unfortunately Alfred, Sr. was killed in a military training accident in Dec. of 1943. After a year and a half, Violet married Oliver Klingenberg. Fred was then raised by Oliver. On March 20, 1971, he was married to Kathleen Jellings. For 18 years, Fred was employed as a carpenter with Retail Fixtures, Racine, retiring in 2012. He previously was employed as an aluminum siding installer with A-1 Installation. Fred used his woodworking abilities to refinish furniture and he loved watching John Wayne movies, westerns and action movies. He will affectionately be remembered by many as “Freddie”, the gentle giant with a big heart, smile and laugh that will never be forgotten. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Beaudry; his daughter, Kelly K. Beaudry; his siblings, Norman Klingenberg, Myra Peterson, Marcia (Terry) Johnson, Carla Thomas and Bruce (Pat) and Melvin (Erin) Klingenberg; and many loving nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Oliver Klingenberg. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Hospice Alliance, Inc. and Dr. David Knight for the exceptional care they provided. |
