William Clarence Pavlovich, age 79 of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Kenosha on January 21, 1938, he was the son of the late Bernard Pavlovich and Dorothy (Walton) Nissan. He attended local schools and Wilmot High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force as a cook from 1955 until his honorable discharge in 1958. Bill was employed at American Motors/Chrysler as an inspector and retired after 30 years of service with the company. He loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener, hunter and fisherman. Bill enjoyed making his own lures, jewelry and gardening. During his time in the military, Bill realized that he loved cooking. Over the years, he has made many amazing meals for his family and friends. Happiest memories were made watching the Green Bay Packers with his brothers and teaching many friends and family to fish. His greatest joy in life was his loving children; his sons, William J. and Jeffery (Christine) Pavlovich, and his daughter, Nancy (Gary Smith) Wilson. He is further survived by his sister, Jean (Pavlovich) Keeling; his grandchildren, Jesse Wilson, Kelly (Pavlovich) Goodson, Derek Goodson, Kayla Pavlovich, Colleen Tess, Matthew Smith and Savanna Smith; his step-grandchildren, Caleb, Cody, Cheyenne Nelson; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dennis and Robert Pavlovich and his sisters, Debbie (Nissan) Blair and Bernadine (Pavlovich) Suggar. The family would like to extend a special thank you to caregiver, Carol Corrigan and the doctors and staff of Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee for the compassionate care they provided.
