Gerard C. “Gerry” Wielgat, 66, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2017. He was born on January 8, 1951, in Winnipeg, Canada, and was the son of Adam and Wanda (Wojtas) Wielgat. He came to Kenosha in 1955 with his parents and sister. He attended St. Casmir Elementary School and St. Joseph High School, and was a graduate of Bradford High School, U.W.- Parkside, and received an MBA from U.W.-Milwaukee. After receiving his MBA, he worked as a Marketing Manager for CR Industries in Elgin, IL, a Sales Manager for Amstead Industries, and a Territory Manager for General Motors in Michigan. He loved music and after his retirement, he learned to play guitar. He was an avid reader, enjoyed bike riding and roller-blading around Kenosha, attending concerts at the Lakefront, and playing cards with his family.
