Born on May 15, 1913 in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late John and Katherine (Bradick) Dumesich. On September 1, 1934, at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, she was united in marriage to John P. Karmann, Jr. For over 69 years their love for each other grew. She had also worked at Coopers and then later worked in sales and housekeeping at her son’s furniture store, Karmann’s Furniture. For over 60 years, she was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. Mary lived a life rich of accomplishments, friendships and passions. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of a monthly poker club for over 60 years. Mary was very creative and had a passion for crafting. She loved to make the table decorations for weddings and baby showers that were held by her family. Mary was a very loving, wonderful and compassionate mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great- great grandmother. She lived her life through her family and the time she spent with them was very precious to her. She is survived by her two loving children, Carol (Donald) Smith of Eagle River, WI and Richard (Judith) Karmann of Kenosha; her four grandchildren, Lori (Steven) Milewski of Chanhassen, MN, Kathleen (Brian) Koenig of DePere, WI, Barbara (Ronald) Patterson of Eagle River, WI and Bradley (Jodie) Karmann of Kenosha; eight great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
