Jeffrey D. Lehman, age 54 passed away unexpectedly after suffering a stroke on Friday, February 10, 2017 at the family winter residence in Sarasota, FL. Jeff was born in Kenosha on February 18, 1962 the youngest son of Kenneth and the late Priscilla (Helmbrecht) Lehman. He was a 1980 Graduate of Tremper High School, lettered in Golf and swimming and was an active member of the Kiwanis Key Club (including State Lt. Governor) doing charitable work. High demand for commercial pilots and an interest in travel, led him to choose Embry Riddle Aeronautical University- a trainer of pilots for his college. Before he could finish his final year of training, the demand for new pilots disappeared. To stay in the airline industry, he immediately applied and was hired by Continental Airlines as a flight attendant- a job he came to love. He was particularly proud of the fact that he never had a written customer complaint put in his file. Retiring after 20 years, this and other positive remarks about his meritorious employee service were on his retirement certificate. This relationship with customers was the same as his relationship with friends. He also believed life was a two-way street. Thera are times when you need help and seek help. But it also works in reverse. When others needed help, he was always there. Along with his father, he is survived by his three brothers, John, Three Lakes, WI, Jay, Kenosha and Dr. James (Kathy) Lehman, Libertyville, IL as well as his three nieces and one nephew. Jeff is also survived by aunts, uncles, many cousins and close friends |
