Dona M. Walls, age 80, of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016 at St. Joseph Home and Rehab Center in Pleasant Prairie. Born on July 5, 1936, in Somers, WI, she was one of nine children born to Eric and Anne (Johnson) Jensen. Raised in the Kenosha area, she attended local schools. On December 17, 1954, she was united in marriage to Nicholas T. Walls in Seattle, WA, where he was stationed in the Navy. During the early parts of their marriage, Dona relocated as needed with her husband while Nick served our country. Dona worked as a bank teller when she was first married, she also held part-time positions as a bus driver for Jelco/Durham Bus Company, a sales clerk for Park Liquor Store and was an assistant at the Gateway Technical College bookstore. Dona volunteered with both the Boy Scouts and the Red Cross while at Lajes Field in Azores, Portugal. She was a member of the Kenosha Women of the Moose Chapter #155. Dona had an artistic mind and a graceful touch for art. She was a phenomenal painter, poet and also enjoyed many types of crafting. She was an avid bowler and was a member of the 600 club. Dona will be deeply missed by her husband of 62 years, Nicholas T. Walls; their three sons, Nicholas J., Michael E. (Gerardine) and Patrick B. (Lisa Marie) Walls; six grandchildren, Rhianna, Katey (Johnathan), Kristy (Phil), Jessica (Kyle), Andrew and John; as well as one great granddaughter, Lilly.
