Nancy “Mimi” J. Brown

Our loving Nancy J. “Mimi” Brown, age 80, passed away peacefully October 20, 2016 at Grande Prairie Health & Rehab Center in Pleasant Prairie, WI after a courageous battle with COPD.

Nancy was born on August 1, 1936 in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Ida Brown.

She owned a gift shop in Long Grove, IL and enjoyed selling antiques at Grayslake flea markets and working together with her very close friends selling at various estate sales.

Family members include her children, Richard (Renee) Jewell of Gurnee, IL, Cheryl Wittum of Castle Pines, CO and JoAnne Jewell of Kenosha, WI; her brother, Charles (Sande) Brown of Durand, IL; her grandchildren, Michael and Michelle Lenczuk, Amanda Jewell, Candiss and Shannon Shumate; and three great grandchildren, Hunter, Carter and Parker Lenczuk; her “adopted” sons, Ken (Sue Oleson) and Doug (Sharon) Coleclasure; and several nieces and nephews.
