Waleria Sawicki

Waleria Sawicki, age 89 of Waukesha died on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Angel’s Grace in Oconomowoc, WI.

Born on September 8, 1926 in Poland, she was the daughter of the late Stanislaw and Urszula (Leszkowicz) Dubaniewicz.

On March 30, 1946 in Germany, she was united in marriage to Stanley Pasterski.  In 1948, they came to the United States.  Sadly, after 21 years of marriage, Stanley preceded her in death in January, 1968.  In 1973, she was united in marriage to Alexander Sawicki.  Alexander preceded her in death in 1986.

Waleria was a dedicated homemaker and an avid seamstress.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Stanley) Kaczor; her three step-children, Jadzia Sawicki, Richard Sawicki and Terry (Fred) Barnes; her three grandchildren, Erica Pasterski, Daniel Pasterski and Lukas Barnes.

She is further survived by her daughter-in-law, Vicki Pasterski; her brothers-in-law, John (Janine) Pasterski and Joe (Kathy) Pasterski; and her sisters-in-law, Gienia (Richard) Blusiewicz and Helen Ludwig along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Rick Pasterski.
