Shirley M. Madrigrano of Kenosha passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. Shirley was born in Chicago, IL on October 31, 1925 a daughter of the late Richard and Isabelle (Chaplin) Engdahl. On November 28, 1945 she was united in marriage to Joseph F. “Pepe” Madrigrano. Sadly, he preceded her in death on June 16, 2012. Shirley was a longtime member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and she achieved the very rare Life Master designation in Bridge. She was also a member of the Italian American Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to being an opera aficionado, she enjoyed her ladies bowling leagues for years, cooking for her children and their children, and her lunches and dinners with friends. Surviving Shirley include her six children, Joseph (Kathy) Madrigrano Jr., Glenn (Barbara) Madrigrano, Mary Joy Madrigrano, Karen (William) Isaacson, Gene (Kathy Segerstrom) Madrigrano, and Daniel (Jodi Puetz) Madrigrano; her stepson Eugene (Ellen) Brookhouse; eighteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren, and her sister Phyllis Vincent. Along with her parents and husband, Shirley was preceded in death by a grandson, Dario Roscioli; a sister Lynn Trecroci, and her brother Richard Engdahl. |
