Dora N. Larson, 91, of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Grand Prairie Health and Rehab Center. Born on January 14, 1924, in Kenosha, WI, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Leona (Richards) LaJeunesse. On October 21, 1944 in Kenosha she was united in marriage to Eugene G. Larson. He preceded her in death on March 31, 1987. Prior to her marriage, Dora was employed by the U.S. Government in Washington, DC. Throughout her life she was employed with Nash/AMC in the inspection department, Montgomery Wards, Triangle Appliance and most recently in the office of Jane Vernon Elementary School; which she loved. For over 45 years, she was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Throughout Dora’s life, she enjoyed traveling; especially in her later years to FL and TX. Dora was an avid bingo player and enjoyed her many luncheon outings with her sister, in-laws and school friends. She loved music, singing and dancing. Dora will be remembered as a wonderful loving mother and grandmother. She truly loved and enjoyed her entire family. She will be deeply missed by her children, Doreen S. (Robert) Bloss of Lake Alfred, FL, Kathy A. (Jasper) Lupi Ellis of Arlington, TX, Laurie M. (Michael) Beaumier Gunnufson of Kenosha, William L. (Barb) Larson of Reeseville, WI, Jeannine R. (Peter) Salata of Pleasant Prairie and James B. (Julie) Larson of Lake Geneva; her grandchildren, Carolyn (Kevin) Jones Adelsen, Matthew J. (Deanna) Jones, Jill (Jason) Lupi Reiser, Leslie (Eddie) Lupi Lake, Scott (Gail) Beaumier, Katie (Daniel) Beaumier Wtorkowski, Rachel Salata Thrasher and Christopher Salata; thirteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a brother, Donald LaJeunesse; a sister, Marie Yvonne (Frick) Van Swol; her sisters-in-law, Jeannie and Willamae Larson; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Dora was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Buchnis; and a brother, Richard LaJeunesse.
