Ronald C. Grove, age 77 of Kenosha died on Friday, November 6, 2015 at United Hospital Systems/Kenosha Hospital Campus with his loving family by his side. Born in Kenosha on January 27, 1938, he was the son of the late Ralph and Rowena Ruth Grove. He attended local schools and was a 1955 graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School. From September 6, 1955 until September 5, 1959 he honorably served our country in the U.S. Air Force. Ron was employed as the Assistant Vice President with First National Bank for 23 years. He then worked as a salesman with the original LeMay & Sons Pontiac-GMC for ten years and sold insurance for various insurance companies. He was a member of the Danish Brotherhood Lodge #14 in Kenosha and Kenosha Moose Lodge #286. Ron was an avid bowler, golfer, tennis player, and cribbage player. He was very proud and loved his family. Ron attended many of his grandchildren’s athletic events and talked proudly about their abilities and accomplishments. Each niece and nephew would get a phone call on their birthday from Uncle Ronnie. He could never say no to a card game, and always looked forward to a game of Wahoo or Texas Hold ‘Em at family parties. Ron led a very social life, and created many memories and long lasting friendships with his bowling teams, golf and cribbage buddies, and especially his group of friends from the Fireside and Diane’s Place. He is survived by his son, Craig (Lisa) Grove of Kenosha; his two grandchildren, Rylee and Brady; and his sisters, Reeva Serembiczky of Jefferson, GA and Ruth Anne (Dean) O’Hanlon of Kenosha; his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth (Jorge) Ramirez, J.R. Osborn, Kris (Kevin) Flaa, Michael (Chrissy) Serembiczky, Kelly (Herman) O’Hanlon, Jill O’Hanlon, Jodie (Kentric) Thomas, Jeff Wenberg, John (Karissa) Wenberg, along with many grand nieces and nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters Gale Grove in infancy, Roberta Rae Osborn and Rebecca J. Horton; and his special friend, Mary Kay Meyers.
