Alexandria M. “Alex” Reichardt, age 27, of Kenosha, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Aurora Medical Center following a courageous battle with Ewing Sarcoma. Born on May 10, 1988, in El Paso, TX, she was the daughter of John and Carrie (Aull) McCoy. Alex was raised by her dad and Cheryl (Wood) McCoy. Her family moved to Kenosha in 1991, she attended local schools and was a 2006 graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School. Alex also attended UW-Parkside, where she met her future husband and in the fall of 2011, she graduated from Empire Beauty School in Manitowoc. On June 2, 2012 in Valders, WI, Alex was united in marriage to Travis Reichardt. In August of 2012, Alex and her husband moved to Japan, where she taught English in their public school system. On January 23, 2015, they returned to Kenosha. Alex was a member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church. She was creative and artistic; she loved photography, scrapbooking and crocheting. She enjoyed camping, fishing and playing video games. She also had an extensive collection of Superman memorabilia. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Travis; her parents, John and Cheryl McCoy; her mother, Carrie (Tom) Durben; two brothers, Michael and Nicholas (Jasmine Hoppe) McCoy and a half-sister, Nicole Gregory. Alex is further survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, countless friends, special cousin, Koreynne and her father and mother-in-law, Roger and Mary Reichardt. |
