Mafalda was employed as a high quality seamstress with Hart-Schaffner-Marx and later worked on the assembly line at American Motors. Cooking was her hobby and soon became her passion which led her to own her own wedding catering business for many years. Before retiring, she spent 15 years making and baking delicious sweets at Paielli’s Bakery. She also spent many years making Italian noodles and cooking them for the Mt. Carmel Festival. After retirement she worked as a pollster at Jane Vernon Elementary School. Mafalda also volunteered as a Girl Scout leader and PTA member at St. Mary School. Surviving Mafalda are her loving daughter, Mary Lou (Gerald) Riordan of Kenosha; her three loving grandchildren, Rebecca (Christopher) Perillo, Stephanie (Thomas) Williams and Paul (Jennifer) Riordan; her five loving great grandchildren, Bryce, Mac, Braden, Eiley and Isabella; her loving sister, Alzira Felicelli of Kenosha and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and loving husband Tony, she was preceded in death by her brother, Herman Fani and her sister, Irene Felicelli.
