A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 5821 10th Avenue. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at the church for the Mass. Marguerite A. “Peggy” A. Brudny, age 88 of Kenosha, died on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at United Hospital System-Kenosha Hospital Campus with her family by her side. Born in Kenosha on December 14, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Camilla (English) Olle. Peggy was a graduate of the Patricia Stevens Finish and Modeling School. She attended the Art Institute of Chicago and UW Madison. Her natural beauty and experience led her to many opportunities as a runway model. She was united in marriage to Christopher Davenport. He preceded her in death in 1972. On January 22, 1982 at St. Mark Catholic Church she was united in marriage to Edwin Brudny. Sadly, he preceded her in death on May 24, 2011. Since 1964, Peggy was the Assistant Vice President at First National Bank of Kenosha and Northside Branch Manager. Peggy was one of the first women to be promoted and advance in the corporate world of banking. She fought for equality in the work force. Peggy attended St. Therese Catholic Church and St. James Catholic Church. She selflessly gave her time and talent through her volunteer work in the warehouse at the Shalom Center and the Kenosha Parade Committee. Peggy was well liked and could easily relate to people. She had a knack of drawing out the best in people. Her legacy will be the unconditional love and support she offered to everyone she touched. Peggy’s memory will live on in the heart of her loved ones. She is survived by her children, Kim Engle of Kenosha, Kevin (Patricia) Davenport of Ann Arbor, MI, Robert Brudny of Westchester, IL, Kathleen (John) Breiling of Kenosha, Ronald (Kim) Brudny of Kenosha and Richard (Angela) Brudny of Whitefish Bay; fourteen grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Olle.
