Born on June 1, 1958 in Kenosha, he was the son of the late William Kiffel and Gloria (Vite) Kiffel. Kevin graduated from St. Anthony’s grade school, Washington Junior High School and was a 1976 graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School. Kevin was employed at Snap-On Tools as a machinist for much of his career. Later, he worked at Waxdale of S.C. During his school years he was very active in Boy Scouts, camping, hiking, swimming lessons and swimming competitions at the KYF. During high school, he participated in Wrestling, Basketball and Baseball. Kevin helped all of this lifelong neighbors with little and big things alike, shoveling snow for many in the neighborhood and cutting lawns, taking packages to the back doors and watching out for his close friends and family. Kevin cared for his Father and Mother as their age advanced. He enjoyed spending time in nature and in the woods, boating on Power’s Lake at the family cottage, water–skiing, fishing, sailing, playing cards and biking. Kevin volunteered for the Veteran’s Cookout every year and always voluntarily took the role in the dunk tank to help raise money for Veterans. He loved attending and watching sporting events, with a few favorites being the Milwaukee Bucks, Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. He was an avid traveler having traveled to nearly all 50 states and had a keen interest in military history. Kevin is survived by his Mother, Gloria; Brother, Kurtis; Sister, Karon Kiffel; and Aunt and Godmother, Norma Vite. Kevin’s family expresses their profound gratitude to the nurses and staff of Hospice Advantage, MCFI/Nexday Brain Injury Rehab Center at Wellspring and Sheridan Medical Complex and would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for the many prayers of their family and friends. |
