Joseph H. Carlino, age 70 of Kenosha passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at UHS- Kenosha Campus. Joe was definitely one of a kind….People who knew him loved him for his kind, generous and indomitable spirit. He always had a smile and a story for everyone he met, even though he suffered immensely with illness and loss in his life, he never complained choosing only to see the bright side. He didn’t have much, but gave all he had to whoever needed it and touched many people’s lives in a profound way. Joe loved making music, especially with his brothers and many friends. He also found enjoyment driving Hot Rods and motorcycles. He worked for ARA Food Services for 25 years; retiring due to illness. Joe is survived by his loving family; mother, Marie (Kusters) Carlino; sisters, Bernice (Stan) Lecce and Chris (Dick) Steinseifer; brothers, Gary (Pat) Carlino and David (Penny) Carlino along with many nieces, nephews, friends and his dog, Buddy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy; his son, Joey; his father, Salvadore Carlino, a sister, Jeanellyn Hujik; a brother in law, Frank Hujik and a nephew, Michael Hujik. The family would like to thank Dr. Leonardo Montemurro and all the caregivers Joe had over the years for their compassionate care.
