Dorothy M. Woroch, age 91 of Kenosha, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Dorothy was born in Kenosha on July 23, 1924, a daughter of the late Adolph and Emma (Kraus) Scholler. She attended St. George Elementary School. While a girl she spent many hours in the convent of the Sisters at St. George assisting them in many ways. She graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. On June 29, 1946 at St. George Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Chester H. “Chet” Woroch. Sadly, Chet preceded her in death on February 15, 2014. As a young woman, “Dottie” was employed at Snap-On Corp. and later in life was employed in the office of the Kenosha County Assessor’s office. She felt her greatest achievement in life was being a wife, mother, and homemaker. Dorothy was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, and the former St. George Catholic Church. She belonged to the St. George Christian Mothers. She and Chet were active in the St. George Chapter of the St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. George Parish. They were also very active in the planning of activities through the Catholic Family Life Ins. Co. She will be remembered for her love of collecting vintage jewelry from various rummage sales, her ceramic creations, and knitting and sewing. Survivors include her two children, Kristine (Richard) Wallace-Thoune, and Glenn (Linda Pacheco) Woroch; her three grandsons, Jeffrey (Alison) Wallace, Anthony (Christie-Lee) Wallace, and Cristian Woroch, and her four great granddaughters, Jillian, Elise, Makenna, and Olivia Wallace. Dorothy is further survived by her siblings, Robert (Sheila) Scholler and Marion (Jim) Holst. Along with her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved son-in-law Lynn J. Wallace; a brother, Donald Scholler and three sisters, Lucille Kloet, Ruth Scholler, and Elaine Skora.
