Entombment will take place on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in the chapel at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. |

Johanna Young, age 87 of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Grand Prairie Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Altheimer, Arkansas on August 12, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Delilah (Reams) Young. A member of Second Baptist Church, Johanna was a talented artist, especially in drawing. Her greatest loves in life were her family, great music and even better, candy! Johanna is survived by her daughters, Joycette (Willie) Marks of Kenosha and Joan C. Young of Kenosha along with her brother, Theodore Young and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Johnnie Lee Elzy; her sisters, Clara Young, Roxanne Young and Charlie Lee Ross and her brothers, Charley Young and Sam Young, Jr. Special thanks to the staff at Hospice Alliance, Inc. and Grand Prairie Health and Rehabilitation Center for their compassionate care of Johanna. | |
