James H. Lowe age 88 of Kenosha, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at his daughter’s home, surrounded by his family. Born in Liverpool, England on October 19, 1926, he was the son of the late William and Hanna (Draper) Lowe. He was raised and educated in England. In 1951, he was united in marriage to Doris Kenny. In 1953 they made Kenosha their new home where they raised their family. James and Doris retired to Port Orange, FL but later returned to Kenosha. James was employed at American Motors for 30 years, retiring in 1989 as a machine operator. He loved the Lord and attended Word of Faith Family Church and enjoyed attending weekly services. James was a hard worker and loved by all. He enjoyed fishing, weekly trips to McDonalds and caring for the birds in his yard. Mostly, he cherished spending time with his family. He will be remembered by his children, William “Bill” Lowe of Chicago, Il, Steve (Teresa) Lowe of Wheeling, Il, Patricia Moravec of Kenosha and Barbara (Jeff) Mockus of Somers, five grandchildren, Lisa (Eric) Dittlof, Amy Moravec, Sarah (John) Hamlet, Ryan (Kira) Lowe and Jonathan Mockus ; eight great grandchildren, Zach, Austin, Eva, Joshua, Justin, Melodie, Addison and Julia; his sister, Betty ( John) Gallegos of Albuquerque, NM and his brother Kenneth Lowe of London , England. James was preceded in death by his wife, Doris in 2005 and three brothers in England.
