It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Barbara Ann Hasper, age 80, who left us on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at the Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie. Born on September 21, 1944, Barbara was the daughter of Peter and Anna (Petrin) Kudrick. She was a graduate of Salem Central High School. She lived a life full of love, laughter, and a deep commitment to her family and friends. Barbara was a kind soul who touched the lives of everyone she met. Throughout her life, she enjoyed many simple pleasures, whether it was curling up with a good book, nurturing her garden, or crafting beautiful pieces through crocheting. She had a soft spot for dogs, and her love of carnations, pansies, and roses brightened her day. You could often find her relaxing in front of the TV or enjoying the melodies on the radio, and she loved shopping. Barbara made her mark in the workforce as an office manager, contributing her skills to several businesses, including the Great Lakes Naval Base and Thompson Hayward. She formed lasting friendships along the way, and her colleagues will remember her as a hard worker with a heart of gold. Barbara is survived by her beloved daughter, Barbara Hasper; siblings, Peter (Nora) Kudrick, Richard Kudrick, and Ann Wilkerson; and precious canines, Taffy, Charlotte, and Rudy. Her legacy of love will continue through them and all who knew her. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Anna Kudrick; and aunt, Caroline Makarewicz.
