A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM at St. Mark Catholic Church, 7117 14th St. The Mass may be viewed via livestream on the following link facebook.com/PiaseckiFuneralHome/live/. You do not need Facebook to watch. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at the church for Mass. A visitation for Jane will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 9:30AM until the time of Mass at the church. Private entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In loving memory of Jane Schnuck, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at age 90. Born in Kenosha, WI on January 10, 1934 to the late Ernst and Cecilia Knoedler. She was a graduate of Bradford High School. She was employed with The First National Bank in an accounting role, retiring in 1995. Jane married her beloved spouse, Richard, on May 15, 1954 at St. George Catholic Church. Their union was blessed with 3 sons. Throughout her life, Jane displayed unwavering dedication and love to her family and faith, leaving an indelible mark on all those who knew her. She enjoyed cards, bingo, golf and baking for others. She was happiest when surrounded by family (especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren). Throughout her life, Jane enjoyed volunteering at various entities and socializing with her many friends. She is survived by her children, Larry (Kathy), Bob (Teri), Jim (Jane); grandchildren, Adrian (Shelby) Schnuck, Jennifer (Scott) LeNoble, Christie (Samora) Johnson, Julianne (Andrew) Petrasko, Max (Andi) Schnuck, Madeline Schnuck; and great-grandchildren, Addison, Evelyn, Piper & Zoey LeNoble, Logan Johnson, Jackson & Maya Petrasko and Olive Schnuck. She is also survived by her sister-in-law June Knoedler and beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband (Richard), Jane is preceded in death by her brothers Eugene, Clarence (Alice), Harold and her sister Dorothy (Ken) Norris; In-laws Joseph and Edna (Schmidt) Schnuck and Polly Knoedler. As friends and family mourn her loss, may they remember a woman who embraced each day with a contagious enthusiasm for life. Jane’s presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. |
