Vanda Amelia Kinderman “Kuky”, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her MN residence on Sunday, September 8, 2024. She was born in Pilar, Córdoba Argentina on January 11, 1935, to Juan Carlos Colazo and Adela Laciar and was a direct descendant of the seventh president of Argentina, Domingo Fausitino Sarmiento. Vanda married Alfredo Erwin Kinderman on April 4, 1959. Their union produced 3 beautiful daughters, Patricia, Sandra and Grisel. Vanda and Alfredo immigrated to the USA in 1964, settling in Kenosha, WI. In 2020, after Alfredo passed away, she moved to Minnesota to be closer to family. She spent her life spreading kindness and understanding to those in need. Vanda was highly respected in the community and received the Woman of the Year and the Hispanic Family of the Year awards. Throughout her career as an interpreter in courtrooms and Catholic social services, Vanda touched the lives of many, offering guidance on raising babies to young mothers and providing support to migrant workers navigating unfamiliar territories. Her dedication to assisting those who needed her voice will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her. Vanda is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Brian) Peuschold and Sandra (Jeffrey) Freese; her grandchildren, Jessica Vitulano, Alex Freese, Natalia Peuschold, and Michael Peuschold; and her great-grandchildren, Michael Brown, Oscar Vitulano, Luella Freese, and Ana Moon Freese.
