Franklin Stockwell

Franklin Stockwell, of Winthrop Harbor, IL, passed away on July 20, 2024, just a few days shy of his 86th birthday. He was born in Pardeeville, WI, on July 25, 1938, to a family that would shape him into the hardworking man he became.

Franklin served his country by joining the U.S. Navy.

A dedicated auto body mechanic, Franklin spent his career working at Reed Randle Ford, where he gained a reputation for his attention to detail and skillful craftsmanship. He took pride in his work and was beloved by both his colleagues and customers.

Franklin is survived by his wife, Cathy Stockwell; their daughter, Christina; their son-in-law Walter; and grandchildren, Nicholas and Kayleigh; and many nieces and nephews.

Franklin is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Florence (Otto) Stockwell; his daughter, Robin Stockwell; and his brother, Raymond Stockwell.
