Entombment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. A visitation for Dean will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Dean A. Schultz, a devoted family man and retired salesman from Carson Pirie Scott, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Azura Memory Care in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Born on April 27, 1932, Dean led a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Dean was a man of simple pleasures, finding joy in the camaraderie of bowling and golfing. He relished the fellowship of his meetings at the Silver Dollar Club and Danish Brotherhood, always seeking to connect with others and lend a helping hand to his family whenever they needed him. A loyal supporter of the Green Bay Packers, he enjoyed cheering on his favorite team during football season. Dean’s evenings were often spent savoring a martini and socializing with friends, always ready to suggest a trip to the bar for some good company and conversation. Dean is survived by his stepdaughter, Patricia (Howard) Ruhle; stepson, Gordon (Ann) Thompson; brother, Frank Schultz; sister, Pat Frisbie; granddaughters, Jodi (Tracie) Ade, Jennifer Ruhle Knight, and Caroline Thompson; grandsons, James (Kim) Ruhle and Nick (Christina) Thompson, and seven great-grandchildren. Their lives have been enriched by his love, guidance, and unwavering support. Dean was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Schultz; his parents, Arthur Schultz and Anna Jacob; his sister, Donna (Lee) Neske; brother-in-law, Bob Frisbie; sister-in-law, Lil Schultz; and companion, Dorothy Nelson. Dean’s legacy of generosity, humor, and unwavering loyalty will forever be remembered by those whose lives he touched. As we gather to celebrate his life and the impact he made on each of us, we carry his spirit forward with us, cherishing the memories and values he instilled in us. May his kind heart and enduring presence bring comfort and solace during this time of grief. |
