Margaret (Marge) Rae Wojcehowicz, age 71, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 7, 2024. Marge was born on August 2, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothy “Jean” (Krebs) Wojcehowicz. She grew up on Roosevelt Road and led the neighborhood kids into many mischievous adventures. Marge attended St. Thomas grade school, St. Joseph’s high school and graduated from Tremper High School in 1971. After high school, Marge played city league softball and was a great shortstop for Dick’s Derby team. After her career in the Army, she moved to the Rice Lake, WI area and worked various manufacturing jobs. She moved back to Kenosha 25 years ago to be closer to her family. Marge was very active with the Polish Legion of American Verterans (PLAV) and became the first female Commander of the Post. She spent many hours helping local veterans. For many years, Marge was an election poll worker in Kenosha. She enjoyed watching the Brewers and Packer games and had her own opinion on why the teams lost a game. Marge recently found a new love for Gaelic music and really enjoyed trying new recipes. She also spent time growing her “inside apartment” herb garden. Every month Marge looked forward to having lunch with her cousins. She enjoyed talking about childhood memories and joking with everyone. She is survived by her brother, George (Ellie) Becker and sister, Roxane (Thomas) Kriederman; brother-in-law, Frank Lamb; nephews, David (Donna) Becker, Daniel (Lisa) Becker, Darren (Angie) Becker, James (Autumn) Becker, Randy Lamb, and Todd Lamb; great nephews and nieces, David, Steven, Hunter, Kaitlyn, Charley, Alec, Reagan, Layni and Clayton; and special family members, Kris (Kevin) Flaa, Jefferson, GA, Mark Kriederman, and Bonnie Fronek.
