It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kayla Lynn Johnson on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at the age of 19. Born in Silverdale, WA on June 6, 2004, to Roxanne (Jason Aaron) Johnson and Anthony Davis. She attended local schools and graduated from Tremper High School.Kayla was employed as a Teacher’s Assistant with Bright Start and worked part-time at Walgreens. She was a member of Journey Church. Kayla was a loving and supportive friend. Her empathetic ability to see others’ inner turmoil made her a friend that could be counted on. She knew what questions to ask of her friends when they were sad, and she would guide them through their feelings. Her best friend Angela quoted, “Kayla loved to bring everyone up when anyone was sad and always knew what to say and when, she was so selfless, she came to my aid when her and I never hung out before. Her heart was gold and every time I see the color purple, I think of her cause she was fierce like the color red but cool and mellow like the color blue.” Kayla enjoyed Squishmallows, spicy ramen noodles and loved to debate…one-sided. She loved being a big sister to Lily and MacKenzie and was a foster parent to cats and dogs. Kayla also had a leopard gecko named Calypso. She is survived by her parents, Roxanne (Jason Aaron) Johnson and Anthony Davis; her sisters, Lily Johnson, MacKenzie, Aaron and Madisen Poor-Davis; her grandparents, David (Rebecca) Johnson and William (Lillian) Aaron; her aunt, Laura (Brandon) Prochaska; her cousins, Raena Prochaska and Mark Prochaska and her best friend, Angela. Kayla was preceded in death by her great aunt, Nola.
