Michael W. Bernhagen Jr.

Michael William Bernhagen Jr., age 52, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Born in Rhode Island on May 15, 1971, he was the son of Michael and Ellyn (Pasternak) Bernhagen.  He was a graduate of East High School and earned his Bachelor of Sales and Marketing from Illinois State University.

On October 1, 1994, he was united in marriage to Patricia (Buhmann) in Rockford, IL.  Together they found a friendship, raised a family and built a beautiful marriage.

Michael was employed as a Sales Manager for Motion Industries for 30 years.

He enjoyed golfing, good bourbon and beer; but most of all; he loved his yearly family vacations and spending time with the family.

He leaves behind many joyful memories for all of us.  His love of life, his dreams for his children and his love of family as well as others who loved him.  Left to cherish his life is his loving wife, Patricia Bernhagen; his children, Emily, Samuel, Daniel and Jack Bernhagen; his parents, Michael and Ellyn Bernhagen; his brother, Zachary Bernhagen and his sister, Alexandra Ames; his best friend, Scott Carpenter and his fur baby, Piper.
