Carmel Catholic Church Funeral services honoring Phyllis’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 1919 54th Street. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at the church for Mass. Private Inurnment will follow in St. George Cemetery at a later date. A visitation for Phyllis will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the family would be appreciated. |

Phyllis A. Bonofiglio, age 83, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday afternoon, October 17, 2023. She was born June 28, 1940 in Kenosha, the daughter of Guiseppe (Joe) and Josephine (Forgianni) Bonofiglio. Phyllis was employed as a library assistant with the Kenosha Public Library for over 34 years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of; Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Kenosha, an active member of the Kenosha Senior Action Council and the Italian American Ladies Auxiliary. She was an Intense Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers fan for many decades and was always up on players names. In 2015, her family surprised her with a trip to a Packers/Bears game in Lambeau Field. She said her life was complete. She loved sending out greeting cards in the mail for many occasions. Phyllis will be deeply missed by her sister, Judy Bonofiglio; her niece, Mary LoCicero (Mark) Michalski; great-nephew, Adam Martin and great niece, Nicole (Jake) Self; great-great nieces, Alayah and soon to arrive, Maci; her great-great nephews, Raylen and Kyler Self, as well as many loving cousins who she cherished dearly. Her parents preceded her in death as well as her great nephew, Jonathan Martin.
