Inurnment will take place at a later date. A visitation for Dolores will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. In honor of Dolores everyone is encouraged to wear purple. |

Dolores Mae (Gratz) Fox “Foxie”, age 80, passed away at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital on Saturday, April 1, 2023, surrounded by her loving family after a short illness. Born on July 2, 1942, in Darlington, WI to the late George and Mary (Sleep) Larson. She attended Paper Elementary School and graduated from Darlington High School. She continued her education and earned her LPN degree from Gateway Technical Institute. On October 22, 1960, Dolores was united in marriage to Bernard Fox. She was employed with Kenosha Memorial Hospital and St. Catherine’s Hospital in OB and as an LPN, retiring after 45 years. Dolores was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Dolores is survived by her children, Molly (Roger), Patti, David (Maggie) and Michael; her 11 grandchildren; her 9 great grandchildren; her 1 great-great grandchild; her siblings, Georgina (Gilbert) Myers, Gary (Vicki) Gratz and Betty Gratz; her sister and brother-in-law, Judi (Larry) Erpenbach and many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, Bernard, Dolores was preceded in death by her brother, Joel Gratz. Throughout Dolores’ life she enjoyed and mastered many different arts and crafts, including her love of creating beautiful quilts, each stitch sewn with love for her many friends and family. Dolores enjoyed traveling, camping, tending to her multitude of flower and vegetable gardens and spending as much time as possible with her beloved family. She was a mother, auntie, grandma, and friend to all she met. Her smile and laughter was contagious and will echo in our hearts forever.
