Robert Lee Walker, age 85, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Born on January 19, 1938 in Boscobel, WI he was the son of the late Robert Walker and Fern (Wayne) Walker. He attended local schools in Boscobel, WI and graduated from Boscobel High School in 1956. On January 17, 1959 he was united in marriage to Anna (Achenbach) Walker in Boscobel, WI. They moved to Kenosha in 1960 where they raised their family and shared 64 years of marriage. Bob proudly served his country with the Army Reserve from 1956 to 1964. Bob was employed by American Motors until the late 1960’s, when he partnered with Jim Statema and operated the Citgo Full-Service Station at 39th Ave. and 52nd St. In the early 1970’s, Bob incorporated Statema and Walker Auto Repair on 30th Ave. with Jim and Jack Statema and together they operated their business until 1999. Bob was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #286 since 1975. He was a member of Jeddy’s Golf League and the Moose Golf League. Bob loved to golf and was a world traveler. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Anna; his children, Kevin (Anne) Walker of Boscobel and Kris Buechler of Pewaukee; his grandchildren, Tricia Walker of Chicago, Katlyne (Tim) Hill of Lancaster, Britanni (Herbert) Weiss of Germany and Jeramiah Walker of Denver; his great-grandchildren, Mercer Hill, Lia Hill and Maximilian Weiss and his sister, Donna (Kincannon) Hill. In addition to his parents and step-father, Carl Kincannon, Bob was preceded in death by his son’s Ricky Lee and Robert Lee Walker Jr.; his siblings, William and Phyllis Walker and his son-in-law, Tony Buechler.
