Service Date: December 16, 2022 SERVICE LOCATION Piasecki Funeral Home Funeral services honoring Richard’s life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2022 at the Piasecki Funeral Home 3720 39th Avenue. The service may be viewed via livestream on the following link facebook.com/PiaseckiFuneralHome/live/. You do not need Facebook to watch. Interment with full military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 23, 2022 in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI. A visitation for Richard will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Richard “Ricky” Keith Brown, age 64, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital. Born on December 19, 1957 in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Leo and Cheri (Rogers) Brown. Richard joined the military shortly after graduating high school. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1976-1979 and the Army Reserves from 1979-1982. After his service in the Army, he continued his education at DeVry University and Gateway Technical College in Kenosha. He moved to Kenosha in the 1990’s. Richard worked at the Post Office in Chicago, Parker Plastics in Pleasant Prairie, and the Mann Warehouse in Kenosha. He was always working but when possible, he loved to read and watch Science Fiction books and movies, watch his favorite team- the Chicago Bears, do crossword puzzles, and most of all spend time with his family. He will be missed by his children, Richard (Gina) Brown, Antoine Brown, Sr., Danielle (Tim) Smith, Iesha Richardson, Keia Richardson; his grandchildren, Arieon, Da’Monie, Antoine, Jr., Armani, Jahier, Aiyanna, Amiah, Elana, Timothy, Por’Shay, Za’Kahari and Leo; his brother, Kenneth (Jerri) Brown; his sister-in-law, Ann Rogers; his nieces, Kennidia Brown, Cheririese Brown, Kennishia Brown and nephew, Joshua Brown. Richard is further survived by a host of other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and other loved ones. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his twin son and daughter, Darnell and Darnetta; his brother, Michael Rogers; his niece, Charniese Brown. |
