Randy P. Resch, age 62 of Kenosha died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, March 3, 2015. Born in Kenosha on July 12, 1952, he was the son of Raymond and Rose (Hickey) Resch. He attended local schools and was a 1970 graduate from Tremper High School. On August 1, 1981 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, he was united in marriage to Carla Ricciardi. Their union was blessed with one son, Jacob. Their marriage later dissolved. Randy was employed for 15 years as a machinist with Tri-Clover/Alfa Laval, retiring due to poor health. Previously, he was employed as a dock worker with the Kenosha Harbor and was a cook at Krok’s Restaurant. Randy enjoyed Badger football and basketball, the Dallas Cowboys and fishing. In his younger years, he was an expert water skier and he would spend his summers on Silver Lake perfecting his rooster tail. Randy will be remembered by the Resch Family as the family chef. He would prepare New Year’s Surf ‘n’ Turf, Easter Ham, Thanksgiving Turkey and the annual “Ravioli Day” in preparation for the Resch Family Christmas gathering. Randy dearly loved his son Jake and was one of his biggest fans. He was so proud of him and his many accomplishments. Randy was always in attendance at Jake’s basketball and lacrosse games, and he coached his CYC basketball team. One of Randy’s favorite memories was when Jake and he attended the NCAA Men’s Final Four. He is survived by his son, Jacob Resch; his father, Raymond Resch; his brother, Roger (Tina) Resch; his sister, Kathleen (Michael) Haye; his nieces, Jessica and Annalizza; his great-nephews, Michael and Maxim; and his former spouse, Carla Resch. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose; and his nephew, Joshua Resch. |
