Jacob D. “Jake” Lichter-Mather, age 21 of Kenosha, died tragically in an automobile accident on Thursday, October 30, 2014.
Born in Racine on October 29, 1993, he was the son of Jeffrey R. Mather and Amy J. Lichter. He was a 2012 graduate of Tremper High School where he played football and excelled as a member of the Tremper Bowling Club. He also attended the industrial design program at Gateway Technical College.
Jake found his passion working with Nelson Tree Service as a trimmer and climber.
Jake also had a talent for bowling and was a member of the FBLA. He was very competitive and loved bowling socially and with family. He was on Guttormsen and Sheridan Lanes Leagues.
He touched and brightened the lives of his family and those who met him. The influence of his family and especially the unconditional bond he had with his grandma, Judy Lichter-Summers made him the wonderful young man he was.
His quick wit and sense of humor will always be remembered by his father, Jeff Mather; his mother, Amy Lichter; his brother, John Hush; his maternal grandmother, Judy (nee: Gray) (Charles) Lichter-Summers; his paternal grandfather, Ken (Diana Steger) Mather; his many aunts, uncles, cousins; and his special friends, RJ, Aaron and Brody.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Leo “Bucky” Lichter; his paternal grandmother, Kathryn “Kathi” Mather; and his cousin, Zachary Joseph Lichter.
