Service Date: March 6, 2022 SERVICE LOCATION Piasecki Funeral Home Memorial services honoring Carl’s life will be held Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave, Kenosha, WI with full military honors to follow. A gathering of relatives and friends will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Carl Craig Reiher, age 74 of Caledonia, WI, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Ascension All Saints Hospital in Racine, WI. Born in Sharon, WI on August 2, 1947, he was the son of Carl and Virginia (Gault) Reiher. He was a graduate of Harvard High School, class of 1965 and earned two Associates Degrees from Kenosha Technical Institute (now Gateway Technical College). Carl proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1966 through 1968, completing one tour of duty in Vietnam. On January 20, 1968, he was united in marriage to Karen Smith at Trinity Lutheran Church in Harvard, Il. Carl was a member of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church in Kenosha and Christ Lutheran Church in Sharon, WI. He also was a member of the VFW Post 7308 and former commander of Somers Post 2751, and the Military Order of the Cootie. He was employed for over 30 years as a flooring salesman in Kenosha, Racine and Milwaukee, then Carl enjoyed a second career as a commercial over the road driver for Schneider International. Carl and his wife, Karen moved to Kenosha in 1968 and then to Caledonia in 2001. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and bike riding trips with Karen and their close friends as well as spending time with family, friends, and neighbors. He is survived by his wife, Karen Reiher; his children, Kristen (John) Hudrick, Kim (Dan Andre) Reiher and Kelly (Sergio) Alicea; his grandchildren, Marqee Hudrick and Mitchel Hudrick, Katie Peltz, Lito Alicea and Roselynn Alicea and our Christmas surprise, Amelia Andre; his great grandchild, Kayden Macaulley and his sister, Karen Lynn Selsing. In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Braxton of Marysville, WA.
