Entombment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum. A visitation for Constance will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances made to Roberta Young will be forwarded, in Connie’s honor, to Camp American Legion. |

Constance M. Stukel, age 89, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital. Born in Merrimac, MA on August 1, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Helen (Oshmueller) Bailey. She attended schools in the Panama Canal Zone, Andover, Massachusetts and graduated from the Lamar High School in Houston, TX in June 1951. On March 12, 1955, Constance was united in marriage to Robert H. Stukel at First Congregational Church in Kenosha. Constance was employed with Simmons Company from 1951 until 1960, Korf’s Sixth Avenue from 1961 until 1963 and Snap-on Tools from January 1964 until her retirement in July 1989. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit #21 in Kenosha and transferred to Unit #293 in Silver Lake for over 50 years. Constance was the Past President on Unit #21, Kenosha County Council President, Past President of the American Legion Auxiliary 40/8, an active member of the La Societe de Femme, Cabane Locale #410 and Past Grande President of the State of Wisconsin. Additionally, Constance belonged to the American Association of Retired Persons, Retired Senior Volunteer Program, National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Snap-on Retired Girls Club and the Senior Citizens Council. In her spare time, she enjoyed camping, cruising, traveling throughout the United States, and playing cards with friends. Survivors include her nieces, Annette Stukel, Roberta (William) Young and Elizabeth (Patrick) Hamm; her nephews, Bruce (Adrienne) Torre, Shawn (Sharon) Torre and Thomas (Jean) Stukel. In addition to her parents, Constance was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Stukel; her sister, Gladys Torre; her twin-sister, Shirley Schneider and her nephew, Michael Torre. |
