Francis “Frank” Joseph Billeck, Jr., age 63, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at his home in Kenosha. Born on March 21, 1958 in Waukegan, IL, he was the son of the late Francis and Elaine (Rakowski) Billeck. He attended local schools and graduated from Grayslake Community High School. On December 8, 1979, Frank was united in marriage to Kathryn “Kathy” Becker in Kenosha. Throughout the years, he did customer service work for 12 years with Abbott Laboratories, 8 years with Nosco, Inc., and 2 years with the Emco Chemical Company. He spent 30 years as a Guest Service Coordinator in the entertainment business with the Genesee Theatre and 3 years with Regal Entertainment and loved sharing stories. Frank was an avid reader and an expert on ocean liners and their history. He was a lover of all things Titanic and Tucker. Until his eyesight became problematic, he was an avid model builder as well. Above all else, he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kathy; his daughters, Rachel (Eric) Wietbrock, Sara (Andy) Weith; his grandchildren, Renee Wietbrock, Koryn/La’Krin Wietbrock, Gus Weith, Oliver “Oli” Weith, Mae Weith; his siblings, Denise (Richard) Clendening, William (Jody) Billeck, Robert “Duck” (Laura) Billeck, Donna (Steve) Billeck-Gonshorek, Diane “Sam” Billeck, Bernadette (Todd) Putz, Dominic Billeck; his sister-in-law, Carla Kovacs; his brother-in-law, Mark (Kathy) Becker; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Deborah Billeck, and Mary Billeck. |
