March 10, 1967 - January 9, 2022 Service Date: January 21, 2022 Homegoing services for Dornesser will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Bethlehem Temple 2528 Roosevelt Road. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Cemetery. A visitation for Dornesser will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the family would be appreciated. |

Dornesser Young, age 54, of Kenosha, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. Dornesser was born on March 10, 1967 in Noxapater, Mississippi to Mertis Young Sr and Mary (Wells) Latimore. In 1977, her family moved to Chicago, IL where Dornesser attended school and later graduated from Kenwood High School in 1985. After graduation, she went to Illinois Institute of Technology to explore her options. During this time, she attended Victory Apostolic Church, where she was later baptized in Jesus’ name. In 1991, she married Louis Encarnacion. To this union was born, Divinity, DeAngelo, and Dominique Encarnacion. Her family then relocated to Kenosha, WI. Shortly after the move; the couple divorced. She then made her home with Bethlehem Temple Church of Kenosha, where she was filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost. She devoutly served for more than 25 years at Bethlehem Temple, where she helped usher, cook, clean, and drive the church van. Dornesser was also a loyal choir member, energetic Sunday school teacher, Assistant Sunday School Superintendent, and a Minister of the Gospel. In 2001, Dornesser entered the healthcare field. For nearly 20 years, Dornesser worked at Brotoloc Healthcare as a caregiver. She enjoyed witnessing to others of the goodness of Jesus, spending time with her family, cooking, acting, singing, writing music, and going to theatrical shows. Dornesser was so very vibrant and full of life. You could always find her smiling with optimism, uplifting others, giving teachable moments, and having a good laugh. Dornesser leaves to cherish her memories with her three children, Divinity, DeAngelo, and Dominique Encarnacion; her five grandchildren, Javierre, Jaharee, Jahlayah, Jhyion, and Janylah; her four siblings, Humphrie Wells, Dorothy (Carl) Citchen, Mertis Young, Jr., and Lisa Young; her niece and Goddaughter, Jodeci Wells; her nephews, Mertis Young III, Byron Johnson, and Bryant Wells, her special great-nephew, Jaheim Wells; and a host of friends, family and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her grandson, Jacque Turner, Jr. |
