A visitation honoring Douglas’s life will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue, Kenosha, WI.

In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrance to the American Cancer Society, 234 W Florida St, Milwaukee, WI 53204 would be appreciated.

Douglas M. Nelson, Sr. age 72, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021.

Born on January 15, 1949, he was the son of the late Albert and Clara (Anderson) Nelson.

He was employed with Johns Manville for 30 years until his retirement.

Douglas was a avid collector of historical items, he loved watching Western, Military and James Bond movies and enjoyed reading books.

He is survived by his love of life, Judy Petrick; his children, Doug (Tricia) Nelson, Jr, Allen (Sandy) Nelson and John Nelson; his grandchildren, Savannah, Tyler, Derek, David and Jacob and his siblings, Linda Masters, Dennis Nelson, Kim Wybema and Sandra Nelson.

Douglas was preceded in death by his parents.
