Funeral services honoring Nellie’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at the Piasecki Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Cemetery.

A visitation for Nellie will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Nellie Mays, age 77, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021 at her home.

Born on February 18, 1944 in Kathern, West Virginia, she was the daughter of James and Alice (Asbury) Mays. She attended local schools and relocated to Kenosha in 1959.

Nellie loved playing bingo, going to the park and swinging on the swings, gardening and camping.

She is survived by her 2 children; her siblings, John (Linda) Mays and Sue Mays; her sister-in-law, Patricia (James) Mays.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her siblings, James (Patricia) Mays, Jerry Mays, Freddie Mays, Raymond (Laura) Mays, Duward Mays, Dorothy (David) Barnhardt, Bertha (Chuck) Brandow.
