William Mark Williams

William Mark Williams, of Mount Pleasant, WI, age 73, passed away on April 7, 2021 at Ascension All Saints Hospital in Racine, Wisconsin.

Born in Waterloo, Iowa, on February 29, 1948, Mark was the son of the late William N. Williams and Helen Mary Gould.

Mark completed his education in Iowa and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1968 to 1973.

On February 14, 1992, he was united in marriage with Roxanne Lee Richter. Their union was blessed with 29 years of marriage and 3 beautiful daughters. They resided in Kenosha, Wisconsin for 24 years, before moving to Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin.

Mark worked for many years as a sales representative in the steel industry for a number of companies including Wisconsin Steel and Acorn Metals. Mark eventually started his own company named Lakeside Steel until the recession that followed 9/11. Never deterred by the changing economy, and always interested in learning new technology, Mark was hardworking and never failed to provide for his family. He was most recently employed by the U.S. Census Bureau as a field representative for the Chicago region.

In his free time, Mark enjoyed spending time with his family, solving crossword puzzles, golfing, fishing, watching football games, and vacationing in northern Wisconsin with family and friends. Mark was no stranger in the kitchen. He loved to watch cooking shows and was always trying new recipes and kitchen gadgets. Helping out and keeping things in order was second nature to him when it came to house and home.

Mark is survived by and will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Roxanne Williams; his children, Chelsey Williams, Chandra (Josef) Ruffalo of Kenosha, and Amanda (Steve) Hoff of Racine; his six grandchildren, Hayden and Destiny Ruffalo and Vincent, Peyton, Addison, and Eric Hoff.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry and Neil Williams.
