December 7, 1957 - December 23, 2020 Service Date: January 6, 2021 SERVICE LOCATION Piasecki Funeral Home Funeral services honoring Mark’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 6th from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association, 3816 Payshere Circle Chicago, IL 60674 would be appreciated by the family. Due to public health concerns, and in compliance with CDC guidelines, only 50 people will be permitted to enter the funeral home at one time. For the safety of our guests, you may be asked to wait outside. Social distancing will be maintained and those in attendance are required to wear a face covering. Mark William Sunderland, age 63, of Kenosha, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Born on December 7, 1957, in Kenosha, he was the son of the late Edward and Joan (Seiberlich) Sunderland. He was a lifelong resident of Kenosha County, where he attended local schools. Mark started his lifelong career at the age of 16 when he began working at his father’s body shop, Z-B Body shop located in Winthrop Harbor. He worked only there his entire life. After his father’s passing in 2006, Mark took over the business and ran it until his retirement just 3 months ago. He was passionate about classic and vintage cars and motorcycles. Mark enjoyed going to swap meets with his family. Mark loved all dogs, but especially his past buddy, Coco. He will be deeply missed by his siblings, Brenda (Karim Saied) Sunderland, Chris (Colleen) Sunderland and Ed (Laura Mianecki) Sunderland and his nieces and nephews, Rachel, David, Phillip, Brenna, Nick, William, Dylan, Edward, Mariah and Ryder, and his son, Michael Stanford. Along with his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Sunderland and his nephew, Mark Nathaniel Sunderland.
