No summer was complete without one of dad’s famous fish fries and picnics at his house. Don also had a passion for card playing and was especially proud of achieving not only one perfect cribbage hand but two. His greatest joy was spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Patricia & Ronald Helton, brother, and sister-in-law, Walfred Jr. and Betty Flesch and his beloved grandson, Joshua Flesch. Don will be deeply missed, and his memories cherished by his children, Vicki (Mark) Zeihen, Audrey (Rock) Ridolfi, Don Jr (Sandra) Flesch, Gene (Gayle) Flesch and Mike (Linda) Zapp-Flesch along with nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one blessing on the way. A heartfelt appreciation to Don’s former neighbors, Gayle and Joe for their care and love for dad over the years. A special thank you to Pat for her companionship during Dad’s time at The Addison, and to think it all began when Dad asked her to dance, walkers included. |
