Services celebrating Maria’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 4343-18^th Avenue.

Relatives and friends are asked to meet at the church.

Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery.

A visitation for Maria will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. with a Panikhida Service at 7:00 p.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home.

Maria Buchkovich, age 42, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 at her home.

Born in s. Strilbychi, Ukraine on February 8, 1978, she was the daughter of Bohdan and Jaroslava (Senchyshak) Buchkovich. She moved with her family from Ukraine and made Kenosha home about 30 years ago. Maria went to school in Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School.

A member of the St. Nicholas Orthodox Church; Maria was a loving daughter and sister. She brought a special blessing to her family with her kind heart and beautiful smile.

Maria will always be in the hearts of her parents, Bohdan and Jaroslava, brother Igor and his wife Olga, brother Mykhaylo and his wife Yolanda; a nephew, Myke and a niece, Andrea.
