Debra A. Lamb, age 70, passed away at Aurora Medical Center on Saturday, October 10, 2020 with her loving husband by her side. She was born on June 2, 1950. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothy “Jean” (Krebs) Wojcehowicz. She grew up on Roosevelt Road and enjoyed all the childhood fun of the neighborhood, Roosevelt Theatre, The Donut Hole, and Lincoln Park. Debbie attended St. Thomas grade school, St. Joseph’s high school and she graduated from Tremper in 1968. On February 10, 1979, she was united in marriage to Franklin Lamb. Debra was employed as an Inspector with Chrysler for 30 years, until her retirement in 2000. In 1983 she began teaching ceramics continuing the family business, J&R Ceramics. She also taught ceramics at the Senior Center for 16 years. She will be remembered for her creativity and artistic talents in creating beautiful ceramic gifts for family and friends. She sold many of her completed ceramic pieces at local and state craft fairs. Debbie created and owned Graystone Gift Shop, a consignment shop for local crafters, located in the family home. Crafts were a significant part of her life for over 32 years. Debra was active with the P.L.A.V. where she held the position of President for the Local and the State Women’s Auxiliary. She donated much of her time helping veterans. For many years, Deb worked elections at the polls. She enjoyed camping, loved to travel, especially to Sedona, AZ and was an avid Packer fan. She enjoyed making memory photo albums and keepsake boxes which she gave as gifts to family and friends. Mostly, Debbie will be remembered for her connection to immediate and extended family members. She was the center of her family and, over the years, hosted many family gatherings and celebrations. She is survived by her husband, Franklin Lamb; stepsons Randy and Todd Lamb; granddaughters Britty and Maquel Lamb; siblings; George (Ellie) Becker, Marge Wojcehowicz, and Roxane (Thomas) Kriederman; nephews, David (Donna) Becker, Daniel (Lisa) Becker, Darren (Angie) Becker, James (Autumn) Becker; great nephews and nieces David, Steven, Hunter, Kaitlyn, Charley, Alec, Reagan, Layni and Clayton; and special family members Kris (Kevin) Flaa, Jefferson, GA, Mark Kriederman, Bonnie Fronek and Tracey, Lou, Aaron and Ryan Denko. In addition to her parents, Debra was preceded in death by her sister, Sue Carol McConnell; grandparents George and Dorothy Krebs, Frank and Martha Wojcehowicz; and father and mother-in law Frank and Betty Lamb, Tomah, WI. Debra had a large family and was preceded in death by many uncles, aunts and cousins.
