October 29, 1946 - August 5, 2020 Service Date: August 24, 2020 SERVICE LOCATION Piasecki Funeral Home Funeral services honoring Louis’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 24, 2020 at Piasecki Funeral Home,3720 39th Avenue, Kenosha, WI. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Cemetery. A visitation for Louis will be held on Monday, August 24th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorials to Special Olympics of Kenosha, 5912 – 44th Avenue, Kenosha, WI, 53144, would be appreciated by the family. Due to public health concerns, and in compliance with CDC guidelines, only 50 people will be permitted to enter the funeral home at one time. For the safety of our guests, you may be asked to wait outside. Social distancing will be maintained and those in attendance are required to wear a face covering. Louis E. Vasquez, Jr. age 73, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at his home with his loving family by his side. Born in Puerto Rico on October 29, 1946, he was the son of the late Angel and Fernanda (Perez) Vasquez. Louis was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was employed with the Kenosha Achievement Center for 36 years and loved serving his community. Louis was very laid back and loved to be around family and friends, especially his sisters. He enjoyed playing bocce ball and bowling through the Special Olympics, winning 1st place in the state several times. Louis loved to listen to music, watch wrestling and collected over 8,000 keychains. He is survived by his brothers, Gene (Denise) Vasquez, David (Ruby) Vasquez; his sisters, Elva (William) Gervais, Angie Feely, Rosa (Pat) Hogan and Norma (Tim) Larrabee, and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Eucebios “Joey” and George Vasquez; and his sister, Rafalita LeDoux.
